In order for your recipient to be able to pick up their cash transfer, they will need a valid photo ID with their full name on it – this must match the details given in the transaction. It is important that the information provided on the transfer is correct, so please make sure all details are correct before sending. Your recipient will also need the transaction reference which they will receive via SMS once payment is ready for collection. If required, you can share this reference through your online account; simply log in, go to Transfer Status page and use the Share option.

If your recipient is encountering issues while retrieving their cash pickup transfer, please make sure they have a valid form of ID and the transfer reference provided to them either by SMS from TerimberePay or shared with them via the sender’s online account. Additionally, confirm that they are at the right cash pickup location/branch. If you need to update the details you submitted, check the transfer status page in the app or website for possible changes. Should you still have difficulty, contact us directly.

  3. Enter your recipient’s details (name, address, phone number) and bank details (bank name, IBAN number and SWIFT code)
  4. Pay for your transaction with one of our supported payment methods
  5. Track and monitor your transfer in real-time using our app

The amount of time it takes for the money to reach its destination can vary. In some cases, the transfer may be instant; in others, it may take between one and two business days.

The cost of sending money to your family and friends through a bank transfer will vary depending on the destination country. But we are pleased to announce that we won’t charge any fees for your initial transfer with us.

If you want to find out if you can send a bank transfer to someone in a particular country, simply go to our website or app and select that country. You’ll then be able to see if sending a bank transfer is an option there.

The delivery timescale of a bank transfer can differ depending on the country it is being sent to. Generally, the funds should be credited within one business day. To get more precise details on how long your transfer will take, select the region where your recipient resides.

Log into your account on either the website or app to request a cancellation. Navigate to your transfer activity and select the transfer you wish to cancel, then hit ‘Request Cancellation’. You will receive an email notification after you have submitted the request, informing you of its success. We regret that we may not be able to provide a refund if a transfer has already been paid out.

There may be a variety of explanations why your family and friends are yet to get their bank transfer within the expected timeframe, for instance: we might need supplemental data from you before we process the payment; more information may be needed from the recipient (e.g. ID); timescales for transfer delivery are calculated in business days so holidays or weekends could lengthen the duration beyond what you anticipate; in rare cases, technical issues can impact the recipient’s bank’s ability to credit the transfer.

The amount you can send via a bank transfer depends on the country of origin, the destination country, your chosen payment method and our local partner’s transaction limits. The SWIFT code, also known as the Bank Identifier Code (BIC), is used in various countries around the world to identify a bank account’s country of origin, bank and branch. The code itself consists of 8 or 11 characters, which are comprised of numbers and letters. This information is essential when sending a money transfer.

An International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is an important tool in facilitating international financial transactions. It uniquely identifies an individual bank account, comprised of its country, bank, branch and account number – all within a string of 34 characters that include both numerical and alphabetical data.

The American Bankers Association (ABA) routing number is a nine-digit code that is used to help identify banks in the United States. It’s similar to a UK sort code and can usually be located at the bottom left corner of any U.S. check. If your recipient cannot locate their ABA routing number, they should reach out to their bank for more information.

The Canada Transit Number is a five-digit code that is used to identify the bank and branch in which an account is registered. This code can typically be located at the bottom left corner of a customer’s check. If your recipient has difficulty locating their Canada Transit Number, they should contact the check issuer for further assistance.
